Potholes. Road hazards. Accidents. We fix cracked, bent, and damaged rims back to factory condition — same day estimates, no appointment needed.
Driving on a cracked or damaged rim isn't just cosmetic — it's dangerous. A cracked wheel compromises structural integrity and can lead to sudden air loss, vibration, and unsafe handling. At Footworks, our certified technicians use professional-grade welding and metalwork to restore your wheel to factory-spec strength.
We handle all types of rim damage: hairline cracks from potholes, corner breaks from curbs, structural cracks from impact, and bead-area corrosion from moisture. Our repair process is thoroughly inspected before any wheel leaves the shop.
Our cracked & damaged rim repair process — transparent, thorough, no surprises.
We examine the crack depth, location, and structural integrity to determine the best repair method.
Using TIG welding and aluminum filler, we restore the crack to factory strength without weakening the surrounding metal.
The repaired area is sanded, primed, and finished to match the original wheel color and texture.
Wheel is pressure-tested and visually inspected before return. Your safety is non-negotiable.

Most cracks can be repaired professionally. However, severely damaged wheels — particularly those with multiple cracks in the spoke area — may be unsafe to repair. We'll give you an honest assessment and will never repair something we wouldn't put on our own vehicle.
When performed by certified technicians using proper welding techniques and materials, a repaired aluminum wheel can be restored to close to original tensile strength. We always pressure test after repair.
Most single-wheel crack repairs are completed in 1–2 business days. Complex damage or multi-wheel jobs may take up to 3 days. We'll give you an accurate timeline at the time of inspection.
