That shimmy at 60mph? The pull to the left? A bent rim. We hydraulically straighten wheels with precision tooling — safe, accurate, and affordable.
A bent wheel causes more than just vibration — it accelerates tire wear, throws your alignment off, and puts stress on suspension components. Most bent wheels (especially alloy) can be safely straightened using hydraulic press equipment and precision measurements.
We measure rim runout before and after using a dial gauge, ensuring the wheel meets manufacturer tolerance. Only wheels that pass our runout spec leave the shop. If it can't be safely straightened, we'll tell you — no charge for the assessment.
Our bent wheel straightening process — transparent, thorough, no surprises.
Wheel is mounted on a runout machine. We measure lateral and radial deviation to document the damage.
Using controlled hydraulic pressure and precision dies, we gradually straighten the rim — cold or warm depending on alloy type.
Runout is re-measured after each press cycle until the wheel meets manufacturer tolerance.
After straightening, we balance the wheel and inspect for any stress cracks caused by the original impact.

Common signs include vibration in the steering wheel, vehicle pulling to one side, visible wobble when driving, or a wheel that won't hold air. If you notice any of these, bring it in for a free assessment.
Most can. However, if a wheel has been severely bent (over 10–15mm deviation), has cracks, or the alloy has been heat-weakened from prior attempts, it may not be safe to straighten. We give you an honest answer before any work begins.
The straightening process doesn't typically damage a good finish. However, if the wheel already has cracks in the paint or clearcoat, refinishing may be recommended afterward.
Most single-wheel jobs are completed the same day or next morning. Multiple wheels or complex bends may take 1–2 business days.
Walk-ins welcome. Same-day estimates. No appointment needed for inspection.
